Laang Kawal ng Pilipinas Partylist was established to address the critical needs of Filipino reservists (CAFGU, Retirees, Veterans, Auxilliary and other MUP Retirees) and their families. As key contributors to national security, reservists play vital roles in peacekeeping, disaster response, and safeguarding our sovereignty. Laang Kawal Partylist is committed to ensuring their sacrifices are recognized and supported through legislation and community initiatives.

JAIME ROBERTO ALMARIO
First Nominee
Jaime Roberto Almario is a Telecommunications Expert, Rapid Disaster Response Advisor, he is the President and CEO of Audio Video Intelligence Corporation specializing in communications equipment, technical security, and electronic surveillance. Recognized as an authority in systems integration and project management, he is also a dedicated public service advocate and patriot, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Philippine Army Reserve Force and serving as Inspector General of the Civil-Military Affairs Group at the AFP Reserve Command. During the 2017 Marawi Siege, his technical expertise led to his active duty deployment in combat operations.

NOEL DETOYATO
Second Nominee
Noel Detoyato, born on April 20, 1963, is a distinguished graduate of the Philippine Military Academy Bigkis Lahi Class of 1990 and a former AFP Spokesman and Public Affairs Chief. He has held key leadership roles, including Commandant of the Officer Candidate School and Commander of the 16th Infantry Battalion. Post-retirement, Col Detoyato served as Head Executive Assistant to the Secretary of National Defense on Mindanao Concerns and Director for Digital Media. He is currently the Vice President for Operations at The Locsin Group of Companies, focusing on environmental protection and sustainable tourism in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. He is married to Mrs. Laura Rosanna L. Detoyato, and has two children, his commitment to public service remains unwavering, embodying the values of integrity, leadership, and dedication. -
JAN CHAVEZ-ARCEO
Third Nominee
Jannette Chavez-Arceo is a veteran media and communications strategist with nearly three decades of experience in advertising, public relations, and marketing. She is a defense and security scholar, cyber governance researcher, and certified cybersecurity trainer holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Philippine Army Reserve Force. Holding two master’s degrees in National Security Administration and Public Management, specializing in Development and Security, she serves as a National Security Cluster Fellow of the Philippine Council for Foreign Relations and sits on the boards of several private companies, socio-civic organizations, and a government-owned corporation. She is an international policymaker, child protection advocate, and educator, who has been recognized with numerous awards, including the AFP Bronze Cross Medal, and was named one of the Top Ten Women in Cybersecurity in ASEAN for 2022.
